Alexa Fort

Alexa Fort is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in machine learning, bioinformatics, and Linux systems administration. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at COLSA since November 2023, Alexa previously held the position of Data Scientist III at Torch Technologies, Inc., where responsibilities included supporting machine learning and data lake infrastructures. Prior experience at iRepertoire, Inc. encompassed roles such as Data Specialist, Technical Support, Field Application Scientist, and Customer Service Specialist, focusing on bioinformatic pipelines and customer account management. Alexa's educational background includes a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Biological Sciences from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, along with an Associate's Degree in Cyber Security from Calhoun Community College.
