Alistair Barnes

Alistair Barnes has a diverse work experience in mechanical engineering and design. Alistair has held senior roles at various companies, starting with Carrier HVAC in 2000 as a Senior Engineer. Alistair then worked as a Mechanical Design Consultant at Keysource from 2007 to 2010, followed by a role as a Mechanical Design Consultant Engineer at Wireless Communications, Verizon Premium Retailer from 2010 to 2015. Alistair then moved on to TM Associates as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer from 2015 to 2018. Alistair continued their career at Trimble Consulting as a Senior MEP Engineer from 2018 to 2020. Alistair then joined Interxion as the EMEA Group Mechanical Engineer from 2020 to 2022, and later transitioned to Amazon Web Services (AWS) as an FE- Mechanical Engineering Specialist from 2022 to 2023. Alistair is currently the Head of Mechanical Engineering at Colt Data Centre Services, starting in 2023.

Alistair Barnes has a degree (Hons) in Electro-Mechanical Engineering from the University of London. Alistair also holds a PhD from UOR in Tri-generation. No specific start or end years were provided for these educational experiences.
