Xavier Matagne

Xavier Matagne currently serves as the Chief Real Estate Officer at Colt Data Centre Services since June 2025. Prior experience includes the role of Chief Development Officer at Africa Data Centres from October 2018 to June 2025, where design and build leadership was provided for the largest data center development program across Africa. Previously, as Group Development Director and Project Director at Equinix EMEA from June 2010 to September 2018, Xavier led over 15 data center projects across multiple European cities. Earlier experience includes positions as Project Manager at Close International and Business Analyst at Accenture. Xavier holds an Executive MBA with a focus on Entrepreneurship & Innovation from HEC Paris, an Executive Certificate in Innovative Management & Entrepreneurial Leadership from Babson College, and an MSc in Engineering, Electro Mechanical (Aerospace) from the University of Liège, along with an Engineer's degree from Northwestern Polytechnical University.
