Eka Akpakip Fleming

Eka Akpakip Fleming is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in strategy, operations, and government management. Currently serving as the Resident for Worship Music and Arts at Columbia Baptist Church since January 2023, Eka also leads strategy and operations for the Scalable Solutions team at Year Up. Prior experience includes 12 years at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, where roles ranged from Deputy CIO overseeing financial and acquisition management to Senior Advisor for IT Governance, and an Acting Budget Director. Educational credentials include a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and dual bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Politics from Washington and Lee University.
