Rebecca Midden

Rebecca (Becky) Midden currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Interior Architecture at Columbia College Chicago, focusing on curriculum development in workplace design and emotive spaces. As the owner and designer at Dutch Miller Design, Rebecca specializes in bespoke residential interiors that harmonize history, nature, and aesthetics. Previous experience includes roles as Adjunct Faculty at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where courses on "Light and Space" and Interior Architecture were developed and taught, and various designer positions at firms such as IA Interior Architects and NELSON, concentrating on hospitality and high-end residential design. Rebecca holds a Master of Architecture with an emphasis in interiors from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, alongside a BA in Art History from Bowling Green State University.
