James van Meter

James Van Meter has over 15 years of experience in information technology and security. Currently serving as Chief Information Officer for the Columbia County Board of Education since August 2007, James has previously held the position of Information Security Officer at Augusta State University for a brief period in 2007. From 1998 to 2007, James worked as a Network Engineer and IT Security Administrator at the Medical College of Georgia. James pursued higher education at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale between 2006 and 2007.
