Wayne Lopez

Wayne Lopez has extensive law enforcement experience, currently serving as a Lieutenant at Columbia County Sheriffs since 2013, following a progression of roles including Deputy Sheriff, Sergeant, and First Sergeant in the Civil Division. Prior to this, Wayne served as a Patrol Officer at Copake Police Department from September 1993 to April 1998. Educationally, Wayne holds an Associate of Arts degree from Columbia-Greene Community College, completed from 1991 to 1993, and completed foundational education at Taconic Hills from 1975 to 1988.
