Columbia County
Mark D. Taylor currently serves as the Director of Real Property for Columbia County, a position held since April 2024, after previously serving as Deputy Director. Taylor has also been actively involved with the Columbia County NY Chamber of Commerce since November 2019, where contributions include serving as Board Chair, Vice Chair, and Board Member. As Chairperson of the Columbia County Volunteer Firefighters’ Association since October 2020, Taylor plays a key leadership role. Previous experience includes managing daily operations as Managing Associate at Concra Appraisal Associates and achieving recognition as Assistant Manager at Verizon Wireless. Taylor's early career involved significant roles in customer service and organizational development, complemented by a B.S. in Management with a minor in Information Systems from Siena University. Additionally, Taylor is a NYS Licensed Appraisal Assistant and is working towards obtaining a NYS General Appraiser Certification.
