Michael R. Custer

Michael R. Custer is a highly experienced civil and structural engineer with a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as Principal Civil/Structural Engineer at Columbia Energy & Environmental Services, Inc. since May 2010, Michael has a strong background in engineering management and design. Prior roles include Engineering Manager at AECOM, where responsibilities involved managing the Civil/Structural group in Richland, WA, and providing services to various government agencies. Michael’s experience also includes significant positions at Fluor Corporation and ICF Kaiser Hanford, focusing on the design and engineering of waste management facilities at the Hanford Site. Earlier in their career, Michael worked as Engineering Group Supervisor at Bechtel Power Corporation, concluding assignments in nuclear power before transitioning to work in the Hanford area. Michael holds a degree from Penn State University, completed in 1976.
