Frederick Powell III (Derick)

Frederick (Derick) Powell III has extensive experience in technical and maintenance roles, currently serving as a Distribution Technician II at Columbia Gas of Virginia since March 2016. Prior to this position, Derick worked as a Maintenance Mechanic/Inspector at the Water and Sanitation Authority from July 2014 to March 2016 and as a Network Analyst at Clearsoft, where responsibilities included NOC and Product Applications Support for Comcast Business Class and Video On Demand. Derick also has entrepreneurial experience as the owner of Appearance Landscaping and Maintenance Inc. from February 2004 to October 2010. Educational qualifications include an Associate's Degree in Network Security from ITT Technical Institute-Chantilly, completed between 2010 and 2013.
