Akio Iida

Akio Iida is an experienced educator and technology integration specialist currently serving as the Grammar School Technology Integration Specialist at Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School since August 2023. Previously, Akio held the position of Learning Innovation Coach at Chinese International School from August 2015 to March 2023, where responsibilities included collaborating with teachers to integrate technology across curricula, leading digital citizenship lessons, and supporting parental outreach initiatives. Before that, Akio taught year 4 in a dual-language program and served as a 3rd-grade teacher at Seoul International School. With a robust educational background including a Master's degree from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a professional certificate from Buffalo State University, Akio also possesses extensive experience in curriculum design, differentiated instruction, and educational technology integration across multiple teaching roles.
