Caryn Duffy

Caryn Duffy has over two decades of experience in education, currently serving as the English Department Head and Teacher at Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School since September 2000. In this role, Caryn has led a team of seven faculty members, focusing on goal monitoring, collaboration, and staff training. Additionally, Caryn has demonstrated expertise in project management, client engagement through presentations and coaching, and community event coordination. Prior experience includes serving as Program Director at Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth, overseeing operations for a summer program, and holding special education teaching positions at Yorktown Central School District and Tahoma School District. Caryn's educational background includes a Master of Education from the University of Washington and a Master's degree in Administration and Supervision from Hunter College.
