Gillian Lavins

Gillian Sumberac currently serves as the Associate Director of Admissions at Loyola School, having begun this role in August 2024. Previously, Gillian held the position of Admission Coordinator at Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School from July 2023 to September 2024. Prior to this, Gillian worked at Success Academy Charter Schools for three years as an English Language Arts Teacher and 6th Grade Team Lead. Additional experience includes an Assistant Head Swim Coach role at the Village of Hinsdale and a Student Teacher position at Radnor Senior High School, focusing on American and British Literature and AP Language and Composition. Gillian also served as the President of the Blue Key Society during time at Villanova University, where a Bachelor's degree in English and Secondary Education was earned. A Master of Education in Childhood Education with a focus on Special Education was completed at Touro University.
