Melissa Barissi

Melissa Barissi is an experienced educator with a focus on early childhood education. Currently serving as the Kindergarten Coordinator and Lead Teacher at Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School since August 2019, Melissa previously worked as a Kindergarten Teacher at Avenues The World School from August 2015 to August 2019, and as a Teacher and PYP Assessment Coordinator at The Dwight School from August 2009 to August 2015. Melissa holds a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Teachers College of Columbia University, earned between 2007 and 2009.
