Serena Depero

Serena Depero serves as the Technology Department Head, Technology Coordinator, and Technology Teacher at Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School, where responsibilities include teaching high school electives in Web Design & Development, Computer Science Fundamentals, Art & Code, and advising the Girls Who Code Club. Previous teaching roles encompass classes in Graphic Design, UX & UI Design, 8th Grade Technology, and Middle School Computer Art. Additionally, Serena recently worked as a Coding Instructor at Giant Machines, conducting a summer Web Development bootcamp. Academic qualifications include an MFA in Painting from Hunter College and a BA in Visual Arts (Honors) and Italian Studies from Brown University, along with other educational experiences at reputable institutions.
