Kelsey Asjes

Kelsey Asjes currently serves as a District Accountant for Columbia Heights Public Schools, a position held since July 2014. Previous experience includes a role as a Bookkeeper at Hope Community Church from 2018 to 2019, and tutoring for America Reads/America Counts between September 2012 and May 2014, where responsibilities included assisting with reading and math for small groups and aiding teachers in classroom activities. An internship at Rosehill Gardens in 2012 involved handling billing processes, bank statement reconciliation, and job costing report preparation. Kelsey began a career in customer service as a Cashier at Fareway Stores, Inc. from April 2009 to August 2011. Academically, Kelsey earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Iowa State University in 2014, and completed an Advanced Placement curriculum at Roosevelt High School prior to that.
