Kristen Ellingboe

Kristen Ellingboe is an experienced educator currently serving as an English Teacher at Columbia Heights Public Schools since March 2017. Prior to this role, Kristen held positions as a Booking Representative at Shelly Bean the Sports Queen, an Academic Coach at Capella University, a Specialty Instructor at YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities, and a Teacher at Spring Lake Park Schools. Kristen's expertise includes fostering inclusive and engaging learning environments, facilitating intervention-based reading strategies, and collaborating effectively with faculty and support teams. Kristen also gained valuable experience as a Lead Staff Member for Active Kids Association of Sport and as a Resident Assistant at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in K-12 Studies from Capella University and a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education and Teaching from the College of Saint Benedict.
