Zachary Armstrong

Middle School Teacher at Columbia Heights Public Schools

Zachary Armstrong is an accomplished educator and musician with extensive experience in teaching and performance. Since September 2018, Zachary has served as a middle school teacher at Columbia Heights Public Schools and has held a position as a math teacher candidate at the University of Minnesota since June 2016. Additionally, Zachary contributes to the mathematical education of students at The Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists and teaches violin and viola at St. Joseph's School of Music while also acting as a tutor for private violin and viola instruction. Musical proficiency is evident through roles as principal viola for the Buffalo Community Orchestra and section viola for the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra. Academically, Zachary holds a Master of Education in Math from the University of Minnesota, along with degrees in Music Performance and Computer Science from Gustavus Adolphus College.
