Adriana Carranca

Adriana Carranca is an accomplished journalist and author currently serving as an author at Columbia Global Reports since April 2024, with a focus on contemporary religious conflicts in the work "Soul by Soul." Prior experience includes working as an independent journalist from 2018 to April 2024 and as a reporting fellow with The Global Migration Project at Columbia University in 2018-2019. Adriana's prior roles include serving as an op-ed columnist and contributing writer at O Globo, covering significant global events such as the refugee crisis and the Iraq and Syria wars, for which Adriana received the O Globo Award in 2015.
