Kelsey Farabee has a background in journalism and extensive experience in communications and marketing roles across various organizations, including Columbia Land Trust, Northwest Outward Bound School, Bay Area Climbers Coalition, Silicon Valley Community Foundation, Two Roads Hospitality, and Meetings Focus. Kelsey also has experience as a camp counselor for Diabetes Youth Families. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Northwestern University, Kelsey has a strong foundation for their work in the communications field.

Columbia Land Trust conserves and cares for vital lands, waters, and wildlife of the Columbia River region through sound science and strong relationships. Since 1990, the Land Trust has protected more than 43,000 acres of land with help from more than 3,000 members. Our service region stretches across both Oregon and Washington from the Pacific Ocean to the eastern edge of the Columbia River Gorge Scenic Area near the John Day River. We are headquartered on the beautiful Fort Vancouver National Historic Site in Vancouver, Washington. We also have field offices in Portland, Hood River, and Astoria.
