Jamie Maassen

Jamie Maassen has a diverse work experience. From 2023 onwards, they have been the Director of Special Education and Little Raiders Preschool at Columbia Local School District. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2023, Jamie served as the Director of Special Education Services at the Educational Service Center of Lorain County. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Special Education Supervisor at North Point Education Service Center. Before entering the field of education, Jamie was an Aquatics Supervisor at Westlake Recreation Center from 1998 to 2014. In between those roles, they served as an Intervention Specialist at Murray Ridge Center from 2005 to 2011.

Jamie Maassen received a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree in Special Education and Teaching from Kent State University from 2001 to 2004. They later pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Ashland University from 2006 to 2011.
