Stacy Gildersleeve has over 25 years of work experience. Stacy is currently a Global Advisor Data Systems at Space Hero - Media. For the Space Age which they joined in 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Columbia Machine, Inc. for many years, holding various roles such as Chief Engineer, R&D, Advanced Automation; R&D Manager, Concrete Products Division; Manager of Applications Engineering and Project Management; Applications Engineering Supervisor; and Senior Mechanical Engineer IV, PE. Stacy was also the Engineering Supervisor for PACO Acquisition, where they led the acquisition and sustaining engineering of a Canadian based competitor. Stacy Gildersleeve specializes in areas such as design, evaluation of systems and products, engineering calculations, vibration analysis, and project management.

Stacy Gildersleeve obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University, where they studied from 1991 to 1994. Prior to that, they completed an Associate's degree in Engineering Prerequisites for WSU at Spokane Falls Community College from 1989 to 1991.

In addition to their formal education, Stacy has obtained various certifications throughout their career. Stacy received their Washington State Professional Engineer license in Mechanical Engineering from the Washington State Department of Licensing in July 2003. Stacy also holds certifications such as Certified Concrete Masonry Technologist from the National Concrete Masonry Association, obtained in September 2016, and Autodesk Inventor 2015 Certified Professional, obtained in December 2014.

Stacy has also pursued additional training and professional development through online platforms such as LinkedIn. Stacy has completed courses and obtained certifications in various areas including team collaboration, emotional intelligence, stress analysis tools, leadership, pitching oneself, decision-making strategies, and teamwork foundations, among others. Their most recent certifications include Essentials of Team Collaboration, Psychological Safety: Clear Blocks to Innovation, Collaboration, and Risk-Taking, obtained in March 2021, and Developing Your Emotional Intelligence, obtained in October 2020.
