Academic credentials include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) obtained from the University of Missouri-Columbia, completed in June 2011, following a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Iowa in May 2002. Additional education includes a year at the University of Virginia from August 2011 to July 2012.
