Carina Luo

Carina Luo is currently a Tax Manager at Columbia Pacific Advisors. Carina has over six years of experience in the tax industry. Carina started their career as an intern at Crowe Horwath International in 2012 and has since held positions at Perkins & Co, Anton Collins Mitchell LLP, and the Asian Chamber of Commerce Colorado.

Carina graduated from Daniels College of Business with a degree in accounting in 2013. While attending school, they worked as a Graduate Assistant and an intern at Friendship Consulting Group. Carina also interned at the Bank of China in their International Settling Department.

Since graduating, Carina has been working in tax. Carina was a Tax Manager at Perkins & Co from 2015 to 2021. During their time there, they prepared and reviewed Form 990 Non-For-Profit Organization tax returns. Carina also synchronized ChamberMaster online managerial systems with QuickBooks and ACC websites, which improved organizational financial and management efficiency.

In their current role at Columbia Pacific Advisors, Carina is responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals and businesses. Carina also provides tax planning and consulting services to clients.

Carina Luo has a Master in Taxation from the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law, a Master in Accountancy from the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business, a Bachelor of Engineering in Architectural Environment and Equipment Engineering from Central South University, and a certification from Microsoft in Microsoft Access 2013. Carina also has a certification from the Oregon Board of Accountancy as a Certified Public Accountant.
