Kim Rappaport has extensive work experience in the music industry, particularly in the field of business and legal affairs. Kim started their career at the U.S. Department of Justice as a Summer Law Intern in 1997. Kim then worked as a Law Clerk Intern for the Honorable Colleen Kollar-Kotelly at the U.S. District Courts in 1998. In 1999, they joined Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP as an Associate until 2007. From 2007 to 2013, they held roles at Sony Music Entertainment, including Director and Senior Director in the Business & Legal Affairs department. In 2013, they joined RCA Records as a Senior Director in Business & Legal Affairs. Kim later moved to Columbia Records, where they held the positions of Vice President and currently serves as Senior Vice President in the Business & Legal Affairs department.
Kim Rappaport has a J.D., Magna Cum Laude degree in Law from American University Washington College of Law. Prior to that, Kim earned a B.ARCH degree in Architecture from Cornell University. Kim completed their International Baccalaureate from St. Petersburg High School.
