Anastasios Christou

Anastasios Christou currently serves as a Fleet Safety Officer at Columbia Shipmanagement since November 2023, following a tenure as Health, Safety, Quality & Environment (HSQE) Superintendent at Intership Navigation Co. Ltd from February 2021 to October 2023. Prior experiences include an EMSA Traineeship in Safety & Security at the European Maritime Safety Agency and multiple roles at Intership Navigation Co. Ltd as HSQE Superintendent. Anastasios also completed engineering placements at North Marine Services, DK Marine, and Mitsoudis Shipyard, and began as a Cadet Engineer at Intership Navigation Co. Ltd. Anastasios holds a Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and a Certificate in Marine Engines and Recreational Crafts Technician from AKMI COLLEGE.
