Demetris Chrysostomou

Demetris Chrysostomou is an accomplished maritime professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within Columbia Shipmanagement since July 1998, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer for the Asia Region. Previous positions at Columbia Shipmanagement include Managing Director for the Asia Region and Group Director for Business Development and Marketing. Demetris also held roles as Vessel Operator, Insurance and Claims Officer, and Commercial Manager during the early years at the company. Prior to this, Demetris worked as Logistics Manager at Mediterranean Container Lines from April 1996 to July 1998. Educational qualifications include a Fellowship from the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers in Maritime Studies and a Bachelor of Commerce with a focus on Marketing from the University of Pretoria.
