Sebastian Pallais-Aks is currently a Tutor at North Seattle College, providing personalized tutoring in math, physics, and computer science at the Math and Science Learning Center since April 2021. As an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Columbia University since September 2023, Sebastian supports research in the Chemical Genomics Lab, contributing to the study of Glioblastomas. Additionally, since October 2022, Sebastian has served as a Resident Adviser in Schapiro Residence Hall, fostering community engagement for over 150 students. Leadership roles include serving as a Tour Captain and a member of the Undergraduate Recruitment Committee, facilitating campus tours for prospective students. Previous internships include a Management Internship at McMaster-Carr, where recommendations for streamlining customer contact systems were implemented, and a Research Internship at Coopersmith Law + Strategy, focusing on AI policy development. Sebastian is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at Columbia University, following a High School Diploma from Lincoln High School.
