Aakriti Garg Shukla

Aakriti Garg Shukla is an accomplished ophthalmologist with a robust academic background and extensive clinical experience. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center since July 2022, Aakriti previously held a similar position at Wills Eye Hospital from August 2019 to June 2022. Aakriti completed a glaucoma fellowship at the Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins Medicine, from July 2018 to June 2019, and undertook an ophthalmology residency at Columbia University Irving Medical Center from July 2014 to June 2018. Aakriti began medical education at Columbia University, culminating in a medical degree earned in May 2014, following undergraduate studies at the University of Southern California from August 2005 to May 2009.
