Christina Shimoda currently serves as a Program Specialist II at BHC Alhambra Hospital, Inc., where responsibilities include directing weekly recreation activities for over 50 patients and collaborating with a team to enhance event planning. Previously, Christina was an intern at Special Olympics, facilitating the Young Athletes Program and coaching athletes in Track and Field and Wheelchair Basketball. An earlier internship at The Sports and Pain Clinic involved shadowing a musculoskeletal pain specialist and assisting physical therapists. Christina also gained experience as an Undergraduate Teacher's Assistant at San Diego State University, supporting students in Abnormal Psychology, and as a Teacher's Assistant at La Canada High School, contributing to a cooking program for middle school students.
