David Berger

David Berger currently serves as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, focusing on research related to Cushing Syndrome and its effects on the brain melanocortin system. Prior roles include serving as a Hospitalist at Montefiore Medical Center and completing a Clinical/Research Fellowship in the Division of Endocrinology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. David's academic background includes a Doctor of Medicine from Sackler School of Medicine, a Post-Baccalaureate in Premedical Sciences from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Colgate University. David also gained research experience at Weill Cornell Medical College, investigating coronary artery disease and its link to heart failure, and has worked as a private tutor in high school science subjects.
