Francine Caracappa

Fran Caracappa holds an MBA in Accounting from Long Island University and an MPH in Healthcare Management from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. Currently serving as Vice President, Finance and Controller at Columbia University Irving Medical Center since 2007, Fran also teaches as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Health Policy and Management department at Columbia University. Previous experience includes the role of Senior Director of Finance and Controller at NYU School of Medicine from 2002 to 2007, Chief Financial Officer for the Medical Group at Montefiore Medical Center from 1995 to 1999, and a managerial position at Ernst & Young from 1985 to 1989.
