Tara Garrett

Tara Garrett began their career in 2010 as a Middle School Humanities Teacher and Substitute Teacher, K-12, All Subjects for Portland Public Schools. In 2012, they joined ColumbiaSoft Corporation as a Business Development Manager. In this role, they work with clients and partners to learn about their customers' needs and evaluate how ColumbiaSoft's solutions will fit their organization. Tara then coordinates demonstrations and discussions to build together solutions that enforce consistency, reduce errors, and make managing documents efficient and effortless.

Tara Garrett obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language and Literature/Letters from Portland State University in 2009. Tara then pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Secondary Education and Teaching at Portland State University, which they completed in 2011. In October of 2011, Tara Garrett obtained their Oregon State Initial I Teaching License in Middle Level Language Arts and Multiple Subjects from the Oregon Teachers Standards and Practices Committee.
