Najiyyah Muqtasid

Najiyyah Muqtasid possesses extensive experience in family advocacy and the performing arts. Currently serving as a Team Leader at the National Youth Advocate Program, Najiyyah has also been a Family Case Manager and Team Leader at the Ohio Youth Advocate Program since September 2000. Additionally, Najiyyah has been a Bartender at the CAPA-Columbus Association for the Performing Arts since January 2011, providing concessions at theaters. With a strong background in dance, Najiyyah has been affiliated with Thiossane West African Dance Institute as a Dancer since January 2000, teaching community classes and performing with the company. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Family Science from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Science in Child Development from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
