Marcus Stephenson is the Vice President of Digital Media and Content for the Columbus Blue Jackets. Marcus has over fifteen years of experience in the digital media and content industry.

Marcus began their career as a Senior Content and Community Manager for Electronic Arts in 2006. In this role, they managed content and community initiatives for EA SPORTS titles. In 2010, they transitioned to THQ as a Senior Content and Community Manager for WWE. During their time with WWE, they oversaw the digital marketing initiatives for the company.

In 2012, Marcus joined the Columbus Blue Jackets as the Director of Digital Marketing. In this role, they oversaw all digital marketing initiatives for the team. In 2016, they left the Blue Jackets to join The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company as Manager of Content and Social Media.

In 2017, Marcus returned to the Columbus Blue Jackets as Vice President of Digital Strategy and Content Studio. In this role, they oversee all digital content initiatives for the team. Marcus is currently in their fourth season with the Blue Jackets.

Marcus Stephenson's educational career includes earning a degree in communications from Hiram College and then going on to earn a degree in English from The Ohio State University. Marcus has also taught English at Columbus State Community College.

They are on a team with and Ryan Chenault - VP, Marketing. Marcus Stephenson reports to Kathryn Dobbs, SVP & Chief Marketing Officer.
