The first club in Major League Soccer. The Columbus Crew is operated by The Edwards Family and Haslam Sports Group. Opened June 29, 2021, Lower.com Field, the Crew’s new state-of-the-art home located in Astor Park, has been awarded the 2021 Harrison W. Smith Award by the Columbus Downtown Commission and the 2021 James B. Recchie Design Award by Columbus Landmarks. The Black & Gold are the 2023 MLS Cup Champions and previously won MLS Cup championships in 2020 and 2008. The Club has also won the 2021 Campeones Cup, 2002 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and the MLS Supporters’ Shield titles in 2004, 2008 and 2009.
