Aimee D.'s work experience includes various roles in different companies. From 1997 to 2008, they worked at Seton Identification Products as a Team Leader, Manufacturing Coordinator, and Production Supervisor. In 2010, they started working at BH Care as an Administrative Assistant until 2014. From 2010 to 2014, they also worked at Fellowship Place as a Recovery Advisor in the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Department and later as an Employment Specialist in the Career Development Department. In 2014, Aimee joined Rushford as an Intake Specialist for a few months before transitioning to Columbus House, Inc. There, they worked as a Supportive Services for Veteran Families - Case Manager from 2014 to 2018, then became a Senior Program Manager for the Supportive Services for Veteran Families until 2023. Currently, Aimee holds the position of Director of Veteran Services and Middlesex Emergency Services at Columbus House, Inc.

Aimee D. pursued their education in a chronological order, starting with their enrollment at Albertus Magnus College from 2008 to 2010. During this period, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Social Sciences. Following this, they attended the University of New Haven from 2020 to 2022, where they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership, Innovation, and Organizational Sustainability.
