David Wegener

David Wegener is currently the Production Manager at Columbus Hydraulics. David has over 20 years of experience in the advertising and public relations industry.

Wegener began their career as a copywriter at Brewster Advertising & Associates in 1979. David then became the Vice President/Public Relations Director at Baily Lauerman in 1993, where they developed and implemented public relations plans for a variety of local, regional and national accounts.

In January 1980, Wegener became the Vice President/Creative Director at Kahler Friendt & Partners / Miller Friendt Ludemann. David oversaw the creative department and was responsible for the agency's strategic planning, promotion and new business development.

Wegener has been with Columbus Hydraulics since December 1998 and has been instrumental in the company's success. David is a highly respected leader in the industry and their experience and expertise have helped Columbus Hydraulics become one of the premier hydraulic companies in the world.

David Wegener's educational career began with a BS in journalism from the University of Nebraska. David then went on to earn a Bachelor of Journalism in advertising from the same school.
