Columbus Literacy Council
Kristopher Knight is an experienced program coordinator currently working at the Columbus Literacy Council since June 2019. Knight completed a Master of Teaching degree at Otterbein University after obtaining a Master’s Degree in Sports Management from Southern New Hampshire University and a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Kentucky. Previous roles include front desk positions at the YMCA of Central Ohio and ticket sales for Columbus Crew SC, along with an internship in sports information and gameday operations at Ohio Dominican University. Knight also brings extensive retail management experience from various positions at Barnes & Noble, culminating in a store manager role overseeing a $2.5 million store. Additionally, Knight worked as an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, assisting clients to achieve their fitness goals.

Our mission is to increase employability, enable future education, encourage civic involvement and promote family stability and support. For the last 50 years, CLC has been a steady and effective presence in our community using interdisciplinary approaches to improve the capacity of underserved, at-risk populations.
