Julie Abedian has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Julie started their career as a Research Associate at the Congressional Budget Office in 1983 and later worked as a Marketing Manager at Uniroyal Plastics Company from 1985 to 1991. Julie then took on the role of Public Policy Writer as an independent professional from 1991 to 1999. Julie furthered their marketing expertise as the Marketing Manager at Columbus Indiana Philharmonic from 1999 to 2002. In 2016, Julie joined Columbus Regional Health as the Vice President of Community Health Initiatives. Julie later became the Executive Vice President & Chief Community Impact Officer in 2021, overseeing various teams and strategies focused on community health needs, workforce engagement, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. As part of their role, Julie also serves as the President of CRH Foundation, which supports medically underserved individuals and promotes innovation in healthcare delivery.
Julie Abedian holds a Master of Health Administration degree from the University of Southern California. Additionally, they have earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources Management and Policy from the University of Michigan.
