Ngubane Thando

Ngubane Thando is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in plant control systems and maintenance management. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer Tech at Columbus Stainless (Pty) Ltd since January 2022, Thando focuses on plant control systems upgrades, simulations, and systems integration. Previously, Thando worked as the Maintenance Superintendent at Element Six from May 2011 to December 2021, leading a team of engineers and technicians while overseeing compliance with safety audits and managing various maintenance priorities. Thando's educational background includes a Senior Management Development Programme from Stellenbosch University, a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Africa, and a National Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
