Riaan Kruger

Riaan Kruger is an accomplished professional in the field of metallurgical engineering, currently serving as the Area Manager Refractories at Columbus Stainless since June 2007, where responsibilities include managing and enhancing refractory efficiencies. Prior to this role, Riaan held positions as a Process Engineer in Metallurgy at ArcelorMittal AMDS from September 1996 to October 2003, focusing on metallurgical investigations, problem-solving, and quality improvement projects, and also worked at ArcelorMittal from January 1988 to September 1996 in a similar capacity. Riaan holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Tshwane University of Technology and earned the same degree from HTS Carel De Wet.
