Manager, Business & Industry Training at Columbus Tech

Ingrid Rider-Owens is an experienced professional in the field of adult education and instructional design, currently serving as the Manager of Business and Industry Training at Columbus Technical College since May 2016. In this role, Ingrid designs, writes, and coordinates training programs for regional businesses and industries, focusing on customized military training, apprenticeships, and internships. Prior to this, Ingrid worked as a Training Coordinator and Project Manager for the Technical College System of Georgia from February 1997 to February 2014, where responsibilities included instructional design, project management, and technical writing across various industry sectors. Ingrid holds a Master of Education in Adult Education with a focus on Instructional Design from Troy University, along with graduate studies in Special Education from Columbus State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/English from Henderson State University.
