Tom Schmid

Tom Schmid is the current President & CEO at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. Prior to this, they were the Director of Operations at NAUTICUS-The National Maritime Center from January 1993 to December 1996. Before that, they worked as a Senior Aquarist at Sea World from January 1987 to December 1993.

Tom Schmid has a Master of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stetson University.
