Alex Cathey

Alex Cathey is an experienced AML/BSA Investigator currently employed at Column since May 2024, following a tenure as a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst at Guidehouse from January 2021 to May 2024, where responsibilities included leading a team to ensure the accuracy of financial crime compliance reports and conducting training for investigative efficiency. Prior experience includes serving as an Associate Investigator Analyst at Guidehouse, where Alex handled investigations of suspicious transaction activities and prepared compliance reports, as well as a Case Investigator at Brazos County Health Department, improving data quality during the COVID-19 pandemic. Alex also held the role of Director of Internal Relations at Texas A&M University, managing a large organization and enhancing the application process for a prominent student orientation program. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health from Texas A&M University, earned in 2020.
