Charlie Liao

Charlie Liao is an experienced finance professional with a diverse background in investment and advisory roles. Currently serving in business development at Column and as an advisor and senior associate at Acrew Capital, Charlie has successfully sourced and sponsored over three early-stage deals, contributing to the deployment of over $100 million in capital to prominent companies such as Chime and Bilt Rewards. Previous positions include board observer roles at Vellum Insurance and Anything World, a KERNEL Web3 Fellow at Gitcoin, and a consultant at McKinsey & Company. Charlie co-founded a stealth startup and was involved in special projects at Two Sigma, a leading quant fund. Charlie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University, graduated magna cum laude.
