Nick Autio

Nick Autio is general counsel to the New Mexico Medical Society. In his role as general counsel, Nick works closely with physicians and their practices to address a wide variety of legal issues that arise on a daily basis. Additionally, Nick assists the Medical Society in identifying and pursuing legislative initiatives aimed at improving the practice of medicine in New Mexico. Prior to joining the Medical Society, Nick’s practice was focused on insurance defense work with an emphasis on defending governmental entities and government employees in civil rights cases.
