Sarah Gentry

Sarah Gentry is an experienced dance educator and director currently serving as the Dance Director for Comal Independent School District since June 2021. Previously, Sarah held the position of Assistant Dance Team Director at Leander ISD from June 2019 to June 2021 and was the Varsity Pom Coach at Scottsdale Unified School District from August 2014 to June 2019. During tenure at Scottsdale Unified, Sarah successfully started a new dance program, created original curriculum, and led the JV Pom Line to a National Championship in 2016. Earlier experience includes teaching U.S. History and serving as a student teacher in both dance and government at Austin Independent School District. Sarah is an alumna of The University of Texas at Austin, holding a Bachelor of Arts in History, Secondary Education, and Dance.
