Shaylon Rettig

Shaylon Rettig currently serves as the Medical Director for UIW Health Services at the University of the Incarnate Word since May 2021, while also providing medical consulting services for multiple school districts, including SCHERTZ-CIBOLO-U CITY ISD, Somerset ISD, St. Anthony Catholic High School, Southside ISD, South San Antonio ISD, Edgewood ISD, PreK4SA, NorthEast ISD, and New Frontiers Public Schools. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, a Doctor of Medicine from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, a Pediatrics Residency from East Carolina University, a Pediatric Sports Medicine Fellowship from UT Health San Antonio, and a Master of Business Administration from East Carolina University - College of Business.
