Pekka Heinonen

Pekka Heinonen is a Senior Design Engineer with extensive experience in mechanical engineering, currently employed at Insinööritoimisto Comatec Oy since April 2011, where assignments include customer delivery projects for ABB Motors and Generators. Prior to this role, Pekka worked at Metso Automation Oy, first as a Master's thesis worker from November 2009 to July 2010, focusing on industrial control loop failures, and earlier as a summer trainee purchaser in May to August 2009, handling the procurement of various components. Pekka holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aalto University, completed in 2011, with a major in machine design and a minor in material science in machine building.
